Dr. Groves, a board certified general surgeon, is the founder of Surgical Associates of Marshall County, with offices in Albertville and Guntersville. He is dedicated to providing state of the art surgical options for the treatment of a wide array of conditions to residents in Marshall County and the surrounding areas. Dr. Groves graduated from the University of Kentucky, but only after first attending the University of Alabama, where he played football for the Crimson Tide during Bear Bryant’s final season.
Dr. Groves graduated from Louisville School of Medicine, and from there traveled to Birmingham, Alabama, where he completed his general surgery residency at the Montclair and Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
Dr. Groves is married and is the proud father of four children. In his limited free time he enjoys golf and weightlifting. He attends Compassion City Church.
